In addition to the Lenovo ThinkPad Helix announced earlier today
, the computer manufacturer has released a new model in the Yoga series -- the new Yoga 11S
. The 11S comes equipped with the new low-power chip from Intel with up to Ivy Bridge third-generation Intel Core i5 processors and Windows 8. Like its predecessor, users can work with Yoga 11S as a laptop, or flip the screen around to turn it into a tablet.
The IdeaPad Yoga 11S features an 11.6-inch HD IPS display that supports 10-finger multi-touch, and comes with features previously only available on the Yoga 13 -- including Motion Control, which lets users simply swipe their hand in front of the webcam to advance photos, videos and other documents. It also offers Lenovo Transition, in which users can automatically open applications like PowerPoint in full-screen when using Yoga in its other three modes: tent, stand or tablet.
Audio and video services on the convertible are provided by Dolby Home Theatre audio and Intel integrated high definition graphics. The IdeaPad Yoga 11S also has the same rubber painting and soft-touch exterior as the IdeaPad Yoga 13.
Models start at $799, and will be available in Silver Grey and Clementine Orange. The Yoga 11S will be available starting in June.
