The Washington Post has released a new version of its Slate app
for the iPad. Slate is a daily digital magazine that includes stories relating to politics, news, and culture, all optimized for reading on the iPad. From the home screen user's can see all of the current top stories, as well as browse through the most recent and most popular stories. In addition to news stories, Slate also provides quick access to several daily podcasts, including the Political Gabfest, the Culture Gabfest, and Hang Up and Listen. Version 2.0.1 includes numerous bug fixes for iOS 5 users, as well as general stability fixes.
