HTC to hold event Feb 19, M7 video, images of housing leaked
Phone manufacturer HTC will be holding dual press events in London and New York on February 19th, with current reports suggesting it to be a smartphone launch. The invites are issued at the same time as a new leak, showing photos of the company's rumored flagship Android smartphone, the HTC M7.
Images for the M7 appeared on retailer Etrade Supply'swebsite, where photos and a video of the front and rear housing were put online. The parts do look extremely similar to the previously-leaked images showing a completed handset, and compared to the One X, it will be using a flatter, less curved design. The complete housing is on sale through the site for $58, though it is currently out of stock.
The event invites themselves provide little in the way of information as to what exactly the event will cover, except for a location and time, though if it is for the M7, the event will take place an entire week before Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
