Social network Twitter has announced two minor improvements to its
web interface. The first is the ability to enlarge images in profile pages and search results. Previously clicking on a link would force a browser to navigate away, but now images should appear in a brief pop-up.
The other is the ability to include video in galleries. Supported sources include Vine, YouTube, and others already viewable as expandable inline video content. Vine is Twitter's first-party video snapshot service, which has been
beset by a number of launch problems.
