Google has pushed a new Google Settings app in the background to all Android users. The new app combines control of settings for Google's services including Google+, Maps and Search into one location. Users can now manage permissions and privacy settings from the app (including AdMob ad settings) while also enabling auto sign-in for Google+ enabled apps.
Additionally, the app also allows users to quickly see which apps users have used their Google+ account to sign in through. Google has carefully worded advice on each of the functions in a way that either encourages users to reveal more of their personal information, or discourage users switching off pre-enabled functions that might limit its anonymously crowd sourced data, including a user's location.
The new app is currently rolling out across the globe to all Android users and will automatically appear on the device, whether you accept it or not. It is accessible from the Android App Drawer.
