A Chinese market variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4 appears to have been revealed in afull photo leak courtesy of Chinese forum 52 Samsung. The device pictured aligns with rumors and adheres closely to the design language of the current Galaxy S III, which might disappoint some users if it is not in disguise. In addition to centering on a new 5-inch 1080p display, the Galaxy S4 has also been confirmed to be running Samsung's Exynos 5 Octa, an eight-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz.

As the photos attest, the Galaxy S4 model in question is called the GT-I9502 and runs a CPU labeled as the 'Universal5410;' the Exynos 5 Octa also carries the 5410 model designation. It is depicted running on four cores as the Octa chip only runs on four of its eight cores at any given time. For processor intensive tasks, it switches to four ARM Cortex-A15 cores, while it switches to four Cortex-A7 cores when in used in low power tasks to help conserve power, without killing performance altogether. Also confirmed is the PowerVR SGX 544MP3, tri-core GPU with support for OpenGL ES 2.0. The Galaxy S4 pictured is also running Android 4.2.1 'Jelly Bean' out of the box, which is as close to the most recent version of Android a handset launched in this timeframe could be expected to run. Google's own Nexus devices were only recently updated to Android 4.2.2 'Jelly Bean' in the past few weeks. There appears to be little left for Samsung to reveal at its official launch, now just three days away. Other marquee features already leaked include 'eye scrolling,' and 'floating touch' tech.
