Claimed hands-on video for Samsung Galaxy S4 appears online
A video claiming to show the Samsung Galaxy S 4 has appeared online. The YouTube clip comes from the same Chinese forum, 52 Samsung, as the photographs and device specifications revealed yesterday, and in theory shows off in video form what Samsung is likely to be demonstrating at its launch event on Thursday.
Though the video shows a phone that shares a considerable amount of its design with the Galaxy S III, though it appears to have two SIM card slots, suggesting that it could be a Duos variant and not the main single-SIM version usually sold. In theory, the single-SIM model would have a marginally thinner profile than the device shown in the video, but then again there is an outside chance that Samsung could just do the dual-SIM model on its own, though this is extremely unlikely.
Previously-released information regarding the handset showed it to have a model number of GT-I9502, using an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor and a PowerVR SGX 5443MP3, tri-core GPU with OpenGL ES 2.0 support. Using a 1080p display effectively measuring 5 inches, the smartphone is seen running on Android 4.2.1 "Jelly Bean" out of the box, and is also said to have "eye scrolling" and "floating touch" tech.
