An unannounced Motorola handset has surfaced via Vietnamese website Tinhte.vn. Carrying new logo-only branding, the device may be one of the first devices developed in conjunction with its new masters, Google. The device is also clearly marked 'Motorola Confidential Property' making its appearance that much more mysterious.
Although the software is incorporates Motorola's current weather and clock widget, the rest of the OS looks like an un-skinned version of Android 4.2 'Jelly Bean.' The styling also separates it from recent Motorola devices carrying with it a look quite similar to Google's co-designed Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4 devices (which were of course made by Samsung and LG, respectively). Whether it eventually carries Nexus branding will remain to be seen.
Like the Nexus 4, the unnamed Motorola handset centers on a 4.65-inch 720p display, although in this instance it is an OLED panel rather than an LCD. It is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor matched with 2GB of RAM. A 2200mAh battery should give it reasonable battery life. It is, however, unlikely that the new Motorola handset is the rumored 'X Phone' which is expected to pack a 5-inch 1080p display.
