HTC is adding to its Desire
smartphone collection, by introducing a budget-ranged device with a few design influences from its current flagship. The Desire 200
has a 3.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 320x480, packed into a metal and plastic case with a top speaker grille that mimics that of the high-end HTC One
According to specifications on the HTC website, spotted by Engadget
, the Android-powered Desire 200 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 running at 1GHZ with 512MB of RAM, and is supplied with 4GB of expandable storage. On the back is a 5-megapixel fixed focus camera, sound processing is provided by Beats Audio, and it also has 2G and 3G connectivity, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 1,230mAh battery.
Despite it being listed by the company, there are no details regarding a price nor a release date, but it is likely to be shipping in the next few months.
