The leaks ahead of Motorola's various 2013 smartphone range launches have continued with serial leaker @Evleaks posting images
of the forthcoming Droid mini, Droid Ultra and Droid MAXX
. As with a number of recent Motorola handsets, the new devices all feature Kevlar enhanced cases that not only look good, but also adds strength while helping to keep weight down. Like Samsung and HTC, Motorola has opted to stick with capacitive touch navigational controls, instead of the software-only approach adopted by parent company Google with its Nexus 4.
Little is yet known about the device specifications, however the Droid mini is expected to center on a 4.3-inch display. The Droid Ultra and Droid MAXX look to have moved up a display size to at least either a 4.7-inch display or 5-inch. Although the Droid Ultra and Droid MAXX look virtually identical, it is though that they will primarily differentiated through battery performance with the previous generation Droid MAXX packing a 3300mAh battery.
The 2013 Motorola Droid range is tipped to appear as soon as early August. The official press shot suggests that a launch is imminent, however Motorola's current focus is on the soon to be announced customizable Moto X phone
, which is rumored to be accompanied by a massive $500 million marketing campaign. [via GSM Arena
