Specifications for the Sony Xperia i1
, known as the "Honami
," have apparently leaked online. The rumored smartphone is said to be loaded with a 20.7-megapixel Exmor RS sensor, double that of most flagship smartphones but half that of Nokia's recently-launched Lumia 1020
, along with a Sony "G Lens" and a discrete Bionz image processor.

state it will have a five-inch 1080p Full HD display, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 running at 2.2GHz with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The rear camera is joined by a two-megapixel front-facing counterpart, using an Exmor R sensor, connectivity over MHL, Wi-Fi Miracast, and NFC, IPX5 and IPX7 certification as water resistant and dust proof, and a 3,000mAh battery.
While a release date is not provided, the Xperia i1 may be revealed during the Sony IFA press conference on September 4th, with a view to shipping before the end of this year.
