Details are starting to surface about Google's new Nexus 7 tablet, likely to be announced at a press event
next week in San Francisco. The new device is rumored to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, come in 16 or 32GB versions, and reportedly have up to 4GB of RAM.
An inventory screen leaked earlier today by Android Central
shows two different models, aligning with the rumored capacities of 16 and 32GB, with the units retailing for $229 and $269 respectively. Cameras have been upgraded, with a 1.2MP front-facing camera, and a 5MP rear camera.
The casing looks identical to the existing model, with a moved Nexus logo, and the new rear camera. Button layout remains identical. The device's spec sheet attached to the device claims Android 4.3 as the operating system for the new tablet, which has yet to be formally announced.
