Sprint has ported its Wireless CapTel service to iOS devices, according to an announcement. The service is built for the hearing impaired, adding captions to otherwise voice-only calls. Previously the option was limited to a handful of Android devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy SIII and HTC Evo 4G.
Using Wireless CapTel on iOS requires both a free app
and one of Sprint's Everything Data plans. The latter cost $80 for 450 voice minutes, or $100 for 900 minutes. Both packages include unlimited data and texting.
