Google is updating its e-mail composition interface for all users, removing the old version entirely and replacing it with a pop-up version. The new e-mail creation window, already used by a number of users for some weeks now and set to roll out to everyone over the next few days, takes the form of a pop-up window in the bottom right corner, which Google says
allows for users to monitor their inbox while writing new messages, with the added option of a full-screen mode for more workspace.
Amazon adds sorting options, reading timer to Android Kindle app
Amazon has updated its Kindle reading app for Android
. The new version adds the option to sort the library by title, author, and the most recently read, and a number of stability improvements, writes Engadget
. The app will also keep track of reading speeds, and will estimate how much time it will take for the reader to get through the remainder of a chapter and the book in its entirety.
