Acer is offering three new LED monitors with ultra-high resolutions in the United States. Both the consumer-oriented T272HUL and the prosumer-aimed B276HUL offer 27-inch displays with a WQHD 2560x1440 resolution, while the larger 29-inch B296CL for professionals possesses a marginally smaller resolution of 2560x1080.

The T272HUL is a Windows 8 compliant display with 10-point multi-touch functionality and gesture recognition, can display 1.07 billion colors, and has a response time of 5ms. Sitting on an asymmetrical stand, it can be tilted back from 30 to 80 degrees, and includes ports for VGA, DVI, HDMI, and a USB 3.0 hub with 1 up and 2 down connections. Just as found in the other two monitors, it offers viewing angles of up to 178 degrees both vertically and horizontally, and are supplied with stereo speakers.

The 27-inch B276HUL and the 29-inch B296CL are both supplied with stands that include cable management a storage tray and magnetic surface for office item storage, and use a multi-function ErgoStand with tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment. They can be pivoted 90 degrees clockwise for viewing horizontally or vertically, tilted between -5 and 35 degrees back depending on vertical position, and can be swiveled horizontally by 120 degrees without shifting the base. Able to display 16.7 million colors with response times of 6ms and 8ms in the 27-inch and 29-inch models respectively, both are supplied with DVI-D dual link, DisplayPort, and two HDMI connections, as well as a built-in four-port USB hub.

The Acer B276HUL and Acer B296CL are on sale now, starting from $599, while the Acer T272HUL is expected to ship in late August with a suggested retail price of $999.
