Deezer has made apps for its music streaming service available for Panasonic and Philips smart televisions, with devices from NetRange, Loewe, TCL Thomson, Sharp, and Vestel also set to receive it in the future. Earlier app releases for smart TVs from LG and Samsung have received a few updates at the same time, including the ability access the playlists of friends, a shuffle mode, and enhanced search functionality.

Google Coder provides Raspberry Pi with web server, browser-based coding

Google has released a new project that allows for the Raspberry Pi to be easily turned into a web server. The Coder project, requiring an SD card for the installation according to TechCrunch, leaves the $35 microcomputer running headless as a server, with users able to access and create web pages and apps in HTML, CSS, and Javascript to run on the device through a browser-based interface.
