Sprint has joined AT&T and T-Mobile in offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch to its customers. Both will be available from the carrier starting from October 4th, with the Galaxy Note 3 priced at $350 with a two-year contract, as well as under Sprint's new One Up early-upgrade program. The Galaxy Gear, available separately, will cost $300.

Netflix wins primetime Emmy award for House of Cards

Streaming service Netflix has received some recognition for its original content strategy. David Fincher won the primetime Emmy for directing House of Cards, making it the first time an award has been given to an online-only show. Netflix received a total of 14 primetime Emmy nominations for its shows, with House of Cards also receiving two awards for casting and cinematography under the Creative Arts Emmys.
