Blue Infusion Technologies has released its Kickstarter-backed product, BearTek, in limited quantities at 'premier' pricing this month. The official global launch is set for October 21. BearTek gloves are a specific 'wearable technology' development, designed for outdoor activities that require hand protection, which normally inhibits phone or music player use. BearTek incorporates Bluetooth technology to connect the touchpads integrated inside the cuff of each glove to the user's tech devices, allowing for remote control of phone functions such as answering calls and controlling music. Once fully charged, the module provides up to eighty hours of battery life.

Users can play, pause, and skip music or accept and reject incoming calls, without removing their gloves, by tapping thumb to various finger touchpads embedded along the sides of the fingers. BearTek Gloves are compatible with Bluetooth headsets and helmets, and are easily upgradable for future versions, as the inner module of the glove is removable. Currently priced at $170 for snowsport and $200 for motorcycle gloves, BearTek Gloves are available at this reduced price until its official global launch in mid-October.
