LG may have given webOS a considerable makeover for its expected smart television, if a leaked image of a device is genuine. The image, showing what could be the television LG is believed to be launching at CES next week, appears to demonstrate webOS using a thumbnail system relatively similar to the "cards" the original webOS software itself used.

The display of the television, leaked via the @evleaks Twitter account, shows a row of icons spanning the lower third. One card for Live TV will show normal television programming, with an upper icon collection providing the date and time, the channel, and other icons as an overlay. Other cards will seemingly open up apps or provide access to websites, such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Skype, as well as other webOS Enyo-based apps. Earlier rumors suggest the television will have a 2.2GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM, which will apparently be capable of multitasking.

If LG does reveal the webOS smart TV at CES, it will be doing so alongside a 105-inch curved Ultra HD TV, new notebooks, soundbars and other audio equipment, and the rumored Lifeband Touch fitness tracker.
