Archos is using CES to launch two more mobile devices in its smartphone range, with the pair of phones being the first from the manufacturer to offer 4G LTE connectivity. Joining the wearable devices and network-connected home monitoring sensors the company has already teased will be the 45 Helium, with a 4.5-inch 854x480 IPS display, and the 50 Helium with a 5-inch 1280x720 IPS version.

Both the Helium devices will use the same quad-core Qualcomm 1.4GHz processor with Adreno 305 graphics, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Micro USB 2.0 connectivity. The smaller 45 Helium will offer 4GB of storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, a front-facing VGA camera, and a 1,700mAh battery. With 8GB of storage, the 50 Helium has a larger 2,000mAh battery, a more impressive 8-megapixel rear camera, also with autofocus and LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing counterpart. Both will use Android 4.3, with Archos advising that they will both be upgradeable to Android KitKat in the future.

Archos has priced the 45 Helium and 50 Helium at $200 and $250 respectively, but has yet to reveal a release date.
