Seagate Technology's premium brand, LaCie, has released its new LaCie Little Big Disk, featuring Thunderbolt 2. Offering speeds up to 1.38GB per second, the drive's Thunderbolt 2 connectivity allows for effective manipulation of 4K video. The LaCie Little Big Disk is capable of daisy-chaining with its dual Thunderbolt 2 ports, and its two heat-dissipating aluminum plates with a thermoregulated fan quietly cool its SSD drives. Priced at $1,300, the LaCie Little Big Disk is available in a 1TB SSD capacity.




STM Bags announces its Annex collection April 1

STM Bags has announced the upcoming release of its newest collection of laptop bags, the Annex Line. Featuring an urban, "retro" aesthetic, the new collection is comprised of four different units, with each style offered in olive, charcoal and red color options. The Drifter accommodates a 15-inch laptop and room for additional possessions, complete with a detachable rain cover. The Trust laptop bag is available in small for 13-inch screens and medium for 15-inch laptops, and contains a protective front flap with a lined pocket for smaller items. The Sequel is intended for bringing along one's essential items only, featuring a main compartment divided with a nylex and foam-lined section for a 13- or 15-inch laptop. Lastly, the Link bag accommodates most 10-inch tablets, and is equipped with a magnetic closure drop pocket for quick access, and an easily adjustable cross-body shoulder strap. Available April 1, STM's Annex collection will be available online.
