LG's United Kingdom branch has teased its upcoming smart watch, by posting another image of the device on Twitter
. The G Watch
, a wearable device running on Google's Android Wear
software platform, is shown in greater detail than the darker original teaser, complete with its square watch face and a notification from Google Hangouts on the display.
Android Wear is a fork of Android designed for use on wearable devices, such as smart watches. The software will allow notifications from Android apps to be displayed on the screen, as well as Google Now-style reminders and alerts, while a Google Voice Search-style interface will let users have control over their phones and to write messages to other people.

Announced at the same time as Android Wear's launch, LG said its engineers worked closely with Google to make sure it worked perfectly with the software, though did not any additional specifications, release information, nor pricing. The new image shows a relatively clean device, consisting of a plain square bezel without any branding, as well as what appear to be standard watch straps.
LG UK did not provide much in the way of further clues for the G Watch, except that it is "coming soon."
