Highpoint has announced the release of new eSATA and Mini-SAS Thunderbolt 2 adapters, the RocketStor 632xL series. The RocketStor 6324L offers Thunderbolt 2 speeds for up to four SATA devices through a single external Mini-SAS port. The RocketStor 6328L's dual external Mini-SAS ports allow up to eight SATA devices to share Thunderbolt 2 transfer bandwidth.

Each external Mini-SAS ports can support any industry-standard Mini-SAS and eSATA storage enclosure, including those with integrated RAID capability, or those hosting arrays created with OS X's Disk Utility, by way of industry standard Mini-SAS and eSATA data cables. The RocketStor 6324L is priced at $300, and the RocketStor 6328L is priced at $400, with both devices available for shipping this month.

Echo Connect keyring charger for iPhone and Android smartphones available for pre-order

Beau Life has launched a crowdfunding campaign for its pre-ordering phase of its new keyring charger for mobile phone. The Echo Connect allows for the charging or syncing of iPhones, iPads, iPods, and Android devices.

A durable key ring, measuring 5cm (2 inches) tall and featuring a silicone body, the Echo Connect includes a licensed Lightning connector as well as a mini-USB connector for Android devices, and is intended to withstand being stored in a pocket or bag until needed. Though the $5 support level is now sold out, interested buyers can pledge a minimum of $10 to receive a "free" Echo Connect as thanks for the early support.
