Earlier today, Google and fashion designer Diane Von Furstenburg revealed the DVF Made for Glass
collection, a set of eyewear designs for the Glass Explorer Program. Google claims that "these new designs build on the style choices we gave Explorers when we launched the Titanium Collection."
Von Furstenberg was familiar with the technology as early as the 2012 fashion week
in New York City. The device was featured on both sides of the runway, and was used to capture "behind the scenes" footage.
The set will be available exclusively on Net-A-Porter and Google's Glass portal. Five new frames and eight shades will be available on June 23 for users of the nascent technology to improve the look of the device.
Pricing is not yet available. Diane Von Furstenburg glasses alone typically sell for $135 and up.
