HighPoint Technologies has announced that its RocketStor 6328 Thunderbolt 2 RAID Adapaters and SAS 6GB per second RocketRAID 4500 Series HBAs now support LTO 5 and 6 tape drives. The new support allows customers to take advantage of its Dual Storage Modes solution-hardware RAID, SAS Expansion, SATA Port Multiplier, and LTO Tape drive devices can now be hosted simultaneously from a Thunderbolt 2 RAD Adapter, or 6GB per second SAS Hardware RAID HBA.

The built hardware RAID controller supports RAID 0,1,5,6,10,50 and JBOD configurations and delivers performance suitable for professional digital media applications. The RocketRAID 4500 series hardware RAID HBAs now enable LTO Tape Drive and SAS/SATA HDD support in legacy Mac Pro workstations and Thunderbolt-capable PCIe platforms for OS X 10.6 or later.

Letters can be dictated if desired, and designer themes as well as location-stamped messages area available. Available for Android 2.3 or later, Lettrs is free.
