Subscription reading service Scribd today announced key updates to its existing iOS and Android apps, and the formal launch of its all-new app for Windows phones and tablets. As part of the update, current iOS and Android readers will find a new browse and book page experience, as well as new fonts and color palettes.
Features of the newly-updated iOS and Android app update include a redesigned book page that includes in-depth descriptions, reader reviews, and related books, seamless book-to-book browsing, and streamlined management of user Libraries.
Scribd's subscription service features more than 400,000 e-books, ranging from contemporary bestsellers to beloved classics from publishers including Harper Collins, RosettaBooks, and Workman. Additionally, the app allows convenient viewing of free content, hosted by Scribd.
The updates for Android and new Windows app are available now, and can be downloaded from Google Play and the Windows app store. The update for iOS will be live in the Apple iOS App Store
in the coming days.
