Hey all, I've got a question for anyone who's run video cards with and without a fan for comparison. I recently acquired a GeoForce 2 (It's an OEM with the ADC and VGA ports, but the fan is MIA, not DOA ) but oddly enough it has neither a heatsink nor fan. I have a Cube, so I want to keep it quiet, but experience has shown me that a GeoForce 2 with a heatsink gets very, very hot, something I have to consider since I've already got an 80 gig 7,2000 RPM hard drive in my Cube. Anyway, I need to put a fan or a heatsink on the GeoForce, but I'd like to know how loud a fan seems from anyone who might have a similar config. If it's obnoxious enough, I'll just try my luck with the heatsink. Thanks...
