My 10GB shipped too!
Ordered 7/18 via Apple's Educational Store.
zurek106, the Fedex shipping kicks in once our shipments hit U.S. soil. But do remember that from Taiwan the plane will cross the International Date line and "gain" some time.
(Although hopefully someday with cheaper launch vehicles or supersonic planes, 2 Day delivery will really mean two days from the other side of the globe).
I'm currently surfing to find out the typical flight time from Taiwan.
Screed

Mine has the same tracking info...and a delivery location of Indianapolis...which is not by me. So I am wondering if they are all going there then being distributed from IN or what?

You lucky dog! - Can you post some pic's?
- How do the alarms work? Sound? Visual?
- If you had an older model how do you like the new wheel?
- Do the headphones fit and sound any better?
- Can you really tell that it is 10% smaller?

All FedEx stuff goes through Indianapolis, from what I've been told in the past, it is one of their central main hubs....at least, everything I've gotten through FedEx has gone through IN first!

Yep, mine was on my door step, it's charged and loaded and sounds great. No Diggi Cam other wise I would have post the whole unpacking thing. Everything went on without a hitch, totally Apple. It just sucked down my music and I still got tons of rooms. The scroll pad is smooth, no problems. Slipped this thing right into the Sooper Dooper case, nice fit even though it's thinner. The Apple case is OK, clean with a nylon material, definitely a one size fits all. Damn this thing sounds good. I recently dug out my Led Zeppelin box set, nice, haven't heard 'um for quite some time. Anyway, the cord with remote is long, but I just stuffed the extra into the case pocket and clipped the thing to the side of the case. I like the remote clip, it clips sideways so it would be upright if clipped to anything vertical like a dress shirt. The remote also has lock switch, that make sense to me. Lets see what else. There is nothing fancy about the firewire port door, seems to be a loosely attached door, does the job. I don't have an older version of the iPod so can't really compare, but I did play with the scroll wheel at the Apple store, I can say I like the pad. Thinner, well, like I said it fits into my case made for the original thickness, and it seems snug to me. What is it like .06 inches thinner, that's hard to see even with a side by side. The Calendar and contacts, well it's there, I think I will be waiting for Address Book on Jaguar and iCal as well before doing anything with it. I'm thrilled.

Finally, mine shipped too!!! I should be getting it today or tomorrow. Can you see the LCD of the iPod when you stick it in the case?

If you're talking about the case that comes with it, no. There really not too much to it.

Does anyone know if the 20GB iPod has started shipping in Europe?
I ordered mine right after MacWorld and it's still "being assembled".
I'm getting the nasty feeling that Apple doesn't care about us Europeans :(
I want my iPod!

Not just you. It seems that every pre order product I have ordered from Apple (The day of Keynote) I get mine way later than everyone else. Patience is virtuous.

The longer the wait, the more you will enjoy it once you receive it.
