Ok, about half an hour ago I spilled a glass of water on my Pro Keyboard. It worked fine for about 15 minutes. Now the keys don't work at all, but the USB ports do.

Is there any way to salvage it? A new pro keyboard is expensive ($100) here, and I don't want to get another kind. Thanks in advance.

Disconnect it. Take a can of "air" to the keyboard and blow it out as much as possible. Stand it up. Put it in the sun for a day. Try it the next.

Water won't "hurt" the keyboard, but it will get inder the contacts and "interfere" with its operation. You may have to open the keyboard and let it dry out.

Yea, ive actaullty taken an OLD pc keyboard, and stucj it in the washing machine. No soap or anything, of course, let it dry, and it worked fine. Make sure the keyboard power is completly discharged

I left it out to dry overnight and now it sort of works. If you press a key once, it keeps repeating the character, just as if the key was being held down. I'll try it again tomorrow. Hopefully the bastard will work then, I really dont' want to pay 100 bones for a new keyboard, and this old tiny one sucks.

You got water in between the contact elements. Let it air dry more or take it apart to dry. You're almost there.

It seems to be working now, except the left shift key and the arrow keys don't work.

No kidding! Did you remember to add rinse to the keyboard?
