I just got my New 10 gig iPod today and I was wondering if I should condition the battery by fully charging it and then letting the battery go dead and then charge it up again?

I don't think you need to. It's not suppose to have a memory, but whatever, can't hurt. I didn't.

This helps only Ni-Cd batteries. It hurts Ni-MH batteries and I guess also iPods Li-Polymer's.
