1) Did you have to send in your AC adapter, sans plug adapter

2) Did you get a whole new iPod package, a repair of your old iPod, or just a brand new iPod unit

3) How long did it take, i've heard people get theres the day after they send in the brokene one

One more thing, has anyone who has a brand new iPod (with 1.2 included) found the 1.2 software yet? I couldnt find it anywhere on my friends cd, or the iPod...

Yeah, what is the story on this v1.2 firmware? Not to be found on the CD's that are included with the new iPods?

Two months ago, I had to send my iPod in for repair. I dropped it and the scroll wheel became too loose to use. Apple had me send in the iPod only. Everything else stayed (earphones, AC adaptor, ect.) A few days later, they sent me a brand new unit.

When airborn exp. droped off the box to put the Pod in, they also gave me and envelope to put teh AC adapter in. Ea. had its own letter of instructions. I figured (and now hope) that as long as they get the adapter, they'll send me back a new one or even just the one i sent in, 'cause it was working fine. Still not sure why i even had to include it.
