Hey guys, my problem has to do with the dead pixel phenomenom w/23 Cinema HD Display. When I boot up and just look at my screen, there are no dead or stuck pixels, but once I open up an application and start moving windows around, I get stuck pixels (green+red) in the top middle of the screen. This is very annoying especially when I have no windows or programs open and everything seems to be in order. Anyone have some suggestions? Also I tried the Pixel Check program and I saw no dead pixels at all except for one dark pixel smack where the dock is in OSX. This is really annoying.

Thanks,
J

Last I heard, Apple won't replace a LCD unless there are 5+ dead pixels...which is kind of annoying...granted transistors fail, but people don't expect the transistors of your CPU to fail...so why should LCD? oh well...you are out of luck...call up Apple and b!tch since it's still under warrenty...
G4/450, T-bird 1.05GHz, iBook 500, iBook 233...4 different machines, 4 different OSes...(9, 2k, X.1, YDL2.2 respectively) PiA to maintain...

I counted all the pixels that were screwed up on my monitor, and the total came out to 5 noticeable pixels. 1 bright green, 2 red, 2 dead black pixels. The bright green pixel as well as the red ones are in the middle of the screen. This is very annoying being a graphic designer. You think I have a chance of Apple doing anything for me with 5 dead or stuck pixels?

Thanks,
J
