Ordered 20 gig on 18th July from Apple Store UK.
Informed that it had shipped on Tuesday 6th August.
Link on website that tracks has never worked.
Rang Apple Store on Thursday to be told that on the 6th was when it shipped from Taiwan
It was in Luxembourg on Thursday 8th, was told that the provisional date for delivery is Tuesday 12th August in central London.
Still Waiting........

I saw a 5Gig iPod on display at Micro Anvika in London (It has an orange Label (5GB Mac) so it was definitley a new one.)
He said that the Remotes would not be in stock for a couple of weeks though, so maybe it was just for display purposes.

Received notification of shipment today (16 August. Whether that's from Tawain, Luxembourg or ireland I'm not to sure, but Apple have kept to their promise and its on its way.
The web tracking seems to have been fixed now??
On a side, I complained to Apple that you can browse through 'secure' pages on their website (order tracking, etc) while offline via the browser's cache. Haven't checked if that's been fixed yet. It was on a machine at work: Explorer on Windows XP.
I haven't tried to do it on my Mac - but the lack of security at work meant I was erasing browser cache each time after visiting my area at Apple Store. A pain.

I have no idea how they choose what order to send these out in. I ordered from Apple UK Web store on 11th August and it shipped on 13th! (That's a 10gig mac model). The link doesn't work on their site but from what Apple tell me on the phone it's waiting in Luxembourg to be picked up by Irish Express Cargo.
