Does any one know a web sit that gives cable pin layouts?

I what to build a cable that will allow me to use a Mac modem that has an 8-pin din serial cable attach on a PC with a 9-pin D connector. I know it is posible to do this but it has been so long since I have worked with serial cables I forgot which pin does what.
