On Apple's iPod Extras website, it reads:

"The Contacts feature also lets you use vCards — miniature text documents that automate the exchange of the type of information printed on business cards — but with way more functionality. Because in addition to text, you can include elements like digital images, corporate logos, live URLs and so on in your vCard. And when someone sends you a vCard as an email attachment, just drop it into your Address Book. The iPod stores the information contained in the vCard automatically, and it shows up in your Address Book — no manual data entry required."

After playing around with vCards, I've noticed that the iPod DOESN'T support many of the vCard options. "...but with way more functionality" - I don't think so. Include "corporate logos, live URL's, etc" - sure, you can INCLUDE them but that doesn't mean they'll show up and/or work.

Are they talking about the Address Book in OSX? I'm assuming they are. So, the only purpose of putting detailed info (ie corporate logo) into a contact's info is to... transfer it to another person/computer (via email or whatever)?

Are pictures on the "To-Do" list? If anyone has gotten pics (such as logos) or any of the other "way more functional" features to work, please let me know how. The only thing I can get to work is basic info - Name, Address, Work, Phone.

While I'm at it, I'll state a request: Apple, please allow some way to add an even VIA THE IPOD! I just want to be able to set an alarm for a certain time later that day; I don't want to go on my computer, open Palm Desktop (as iCal is not yet out), create an event, plug in my iPod, copy the event over, disconnect my iPod and then be on my way. I want to turn on my iPod, select Extras->Calendar, scroll to a specific date, select it and add an event - just an alarm!

Whew, now I'm out of breath
