It's a fantastic printer. The Epson photo series is always rated the best for photo reporduction. A little slow for text at about 8 ppm, but that's fine for most home users.
I bought one in the same $100 rebate-deal when I got my eMac last week. I've only used it a couple times, but it seems to be a really nice printer. It seems to take forever to prepare for a print job, but other than that it's quality is pretty good.
