Yay, great. Yes; the new iPod is a ton better than the old top of the line 10GB iPod (remote, 10GB more, touch sensitivity, etc.), but it still has the same problems with my MP3 collection.
Yes, they are VBR - Yes, they were not encoded with iTunes - and Yes, they are still "clipped" (last 5-10 seconds are skipped). Or, in some instances, iPod miscalculates the song length by 15 minutes or so - soI get to hear the WHOLE song. How novel!
Why doesn't Apple make an iPod that actually plays VBR MP3's... this thing is a piece of junk. I'm so pissed I though 1.2 would change that. $500 more out the drain to listen to "clipped" music.
