I am a newcomer into the PDA world, and I encounter a big problem..

I tried hotsync on my visor neo with palm desktop 4.0. It worked fine. However, if I tried to add some applications into the installation list, the connection lost after a long time and the application was not installed. I also tried palm 2.6.3 in classic mode, even worse.. I could not complete the sync even I didn't install any new application.

Any idea? thank you for your help..

Hi, my friend had a simliar problem with his Visor Basic. Try doing a hard-reset. This will wipe your RAM clean, so you'll lose all your data. If you can't even sync your data, buy a back-up or flash module (not too much $$$ anymore) and back it up to that then hard reset.

I tried hard reset before, and it didn't work.

BTW, I used the USB craddle, and it works when i install smaller application
(<10k) but failed for larger apps. I think my hotsync is a bit slow. Could any of you tell me what's the typical time for hotsync? Thanks !
