Ok, so I just got one of the old 10gig iPods cause my school was clearing them out. (Besides I don't need the remote or the case)

Anyway, on to the real question. I charged the battery up full and then used it for about an hour and a half total. Two days later I pick it up and there is only one "bar" of power showing. Is it normal to go down that much in 2 days? It seems strange to me. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

First of all, you should know that the battery guage is somewhat unreliable, although this general manifests itself in the "had two bars and one minute later it's dead" phenomenon... As for the battery draining, it can drain relatively quickly if you just leave it.

Thanks. I am used to camera batteries. They only drain about 2% per day.

Take a look at the other thread about iPod battery life. It seems to be a problem with firmware version 1.2 and the alarms.
