What 17-19" CRT would you recommend to a buyer who wants more screen real estate and a better resolution than 1024x768. Also, I to keep the Hz above 85-90. I have sensitive eyes. That is why I went with my Samsung LCD. Oh, budget? $300
It I want your opinion, I'll beat it out of you.

I just got a refurbished LaCie ElectronBlueIII 19" for $289 with free shipping.

Go to their site, www.lacie.com

The refurbs are in great shape, and it's a GREAT deal. It's basically a Mitsubishi Diamondtron, but blue.

And contrary to what their site says, my refurbished model came with a hood

I have a Formac ProNitron 500 (19") which is a very nice 19" monitor.

Newer models are available from Formac. Pretty decent stuff for the money.

Depends on the money you want to spend. Samsumg CRTs are usually tested among the best, while you can still afford them. Cost above average, but you get above average performance.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
