hey, does anybody know of any iPod applications? By this, I mean small utilities, such as PodWeather (which is a nifty little program). Also, would it be possible to put other apps/games on the ipod? the wheel would be great for a port of burning rubber or something... that's right, you all remember burning rubber... best car game ever.

I wasn't going to post because I didn't want to seem critical - but if you are going to keep bumping until you get an answer, then:
The iPod is NOT a PDA. You can't make it turn into a PDA. If you want a PDA, you should have bought a PDA.

but I broke my PDA.
...and besides, in what way is the iPod not a personal digital assistant? It holds my addresses, beeps at me when I have appointments, and it even let's me play brickles. NOWHERE on this machine does it say MP3 player, and Apple would not have included the ability for it to do other things than play music if it had no intention of letting users multitask while listening to their favorite Buddy Holly album.
So I ask again, does anybody know of little productivity apps that can let me have an even better time with my iPod?
and dude, take your "I want an iPod too" aggression out somewhere else... basically, just chill the heck out. thanks!

Sorry man, but Anomalous is right. Until Apple updates the iPod software again, there's not much you can do. I hear cell phones have good games, though.

true... but space invaders gets boring on my cell phone guys. And snake, not so much fun.
For those of you that have an ipod though, download PodWeather. It's neat.

I heard from iPoding.com or iPodlounge.com some time ago that Apple hasn't released the iPod API's, which makes programming very difficult. Until the day when the API's are released, I don't see much in the way of exciting or innovative apps being made for the iPod.
