I have an iMac G3 with firewire. I was going to buy an EZQuest DVD firewire burner. The specs call for a G4 for authoring. All I want to do is take recorded tv shows and burn them to dvd. Is this possible? What do they mean by authoring? Would Toast take the saved video file and convert it for me to the needed format to burn it to DVD? Or do I need a G4 to do it?
