CD-R playability improvement
CD-R/RW recordability improvement
DVD-R/RW recordability improvement

DVR-A03, DVR-103
DVD-R/RW recordability improvement
(Note there have been various other firmwares since the initial 1.44)

I don't see a Mac-based updater though.

For the A04/104, it looks like version 1.20. This is the version that I already have. I think most have this version.

By the way, here's another page with the firmware "updater":
