I know this is a rehash, but wanted to start it off in a new thread.

Can anyone recommend a printer that fits this bill:

- Out of the box Ethernet compatible (Not interested in USB sharing, and would like to avoid "print servers" and optional "ethernet cards". Is that possible?)

- Nice balance between text and photo quality.

- Reasonable "consumables" (ink) cost of printing.

- OS X 10.2 Jaguar compatible (Today, not "new drivers soon" compatible.)

Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you find a printer that is ethernet compatible then you have found a printer with a built in or optional print server. There are several out there that can be configured in this manner.

I believe that is the C80N. There is also the C80WN with wireless networking, but at a higher cost.
