Even there are rumors that it can't be done without breaking it....

my Apple pro mouse has a broken wire just at the connection to the housing. I need to open it, shorten the cable for 1 inch and assemble it again.

Now how to open it up without breaking it? Any hint or sites where it is described?

not that I have seen on these boards.

Sorry. did the wires just break from over use, that never happened to me in my two year use of my Pro Mouse.
