Potentially Stupid Question Alert:

I have a Fuji finepix 2400 USB camera. My friend has a Boss hard disc recorder, with smartmedia. To convert his files onto my mac, I need a smartmedia card reader.

Unless <lightbulb> I can use my camera as a reader. Anyone? Possible? Stupid? Should I just suck it up and spend the $20? Anybody know of one for that price that works in Jaguar?

I have used my nikon camera to read photos on a card shot with a canon. The resolutions were different also.

The nikon camera just added a new folder to store it's photos, leaving the canon stuff alone. I used the finder to copy stuff to my hd.

Cool, thanks. I imagine my camera would do the same. I guess you can just delete that folder in the finder, normally? I wouldn't want the disc to bork the recorder upon reinsertion.
