I just checked Canon's site to see if they had drivers for the N1220U yet. Lo and behold! Finally, they are scheduled to be available in October. Many others will be ready soon. This is great news. Second piece of hardware that shall have been resurrected recently. First, I discover that 10.2.1 now supports the Sony DVMC-DA1 which I had assumed would never work in OS X. And now this.

Like any other 3rd party software update, I'll believe they are actually updating the drivers when I have actually downloaded and am scanning with the new driver on my canon N 656U scanner.
But I hope your right.

I downloaded the new OSX drivers for my Canon N670U and they do work, just not in Preview which kind of stinks. Also, the OSX drivers don't support the buttons on the scanner, not that I would every use them. Just be nice to know that Canon's drivers were complete.

The drivers do work very well with Photoshop Elements 2.0 though. Much faster than VueScan software I was using before.
