I've had a Sawtooth G4 since December of 99 and had grown accustomed to the mini me keyboard that was included with it. However, I finally decided it was time to move up the a new pro keyboard. I went to my school bookstore and picked up a horribly overpriced white pro keyboard. As I'm unpacking it I think "wow this looks nice and will probably be easier on my hands". Anyhow, I remembered some people saying the pro keyboards included with new mac had really short cords but included a extension cable. Imagine my suprise when I find that not only does my new pro keyboard have a horribly short cord(like 3 feet max) but that no extension cable is included Luckily, I already had a USB extension cable that I was using with my printer so I can atleast use the keyboard without having to move my tower. Still talk about an oversight. Now I have to either move my printer or get another extension cable. The pro keyboard is overpriced enough and this is just a huge oversight to me. Any ideas where I can find either a cheap A-B usb extension cable or a longer regular USB cable for my printer? thanks for any info.
Regards,
Dave

Well as much as I didn't want to, i couldn't justify rearranging my desk simply because I was to cheap to go spend a few bucks on a longer cable for my printer and i couldn't find a long enough one in all my mess of cables. All is well now but i really wish Apple would include 6 feet of built in cable or atleast include an extension. Contrary to Apple's philosophy, not all of us can keep our towers on the desk On a side note, despite the cost and annoyance, I really like the pro keyboard. While it does lack the power key(which I think is a glaring omission) overall it feels much roomier and better to me than the old mini one did.
Regards,
Dave
