Well, I can't send mail via the Freserve mail server (that I'm logged into) but I can recieve mail.

I can send and recieve mail via another, less fussy ISP, even though I'm connected to Freeserve.

Freeserve obviously doesn't like something about Airport, or about the settings I've entered... but what on earth can it be?

It's definitely nothing as dumb as incorrect log/pass/smtp settings...

Any ideas, o bright ones?

have you tried it without airport--e.g., connecting directly? that would narrow it down to airport.

what email client/program are you using?
did the problem just start occuring?
what did you change or add before the problem cropped up?
