Anyone with the new iPods out there have an opinion on the new, "virtual" scroll wheel?

Any of you using a new iPod who've also played with the original iPods? How do the feel of the two devices compare? And what's the center button like on the new 'Pods?

In my opinion the new "no-moving-parts" iPod is much better than the old scroll wheel. I used both and own a new 10GB iPod. The center buttons seem to be about the same.
I think you will really like the new track pad.

I like the scrollpad more than the 'old' scrollwheel. Feels more, how can I say it, intigrated... I think the centerbutton seems to me as well to be the same.
I have one of the new 10 GB's and I have compared it to a 'old' iPod in my local store yesterday.

Thanks guys. I'm looking for a new 10GB for my birthday on 1 November. Will put the 5GB model on eBay.

I have the new 20 gig and my friend here at work drools over it all the time. He has the old 5 gig and agrees that the new models are much better.
The scroll wheel is great, my only problem is it gets dirty when I mess with it after I read the paper on the subway. But that's not a design flaw.

Do you have any sort of Apple Authorized Reseller in your area? Most of them have iPods on display that you can try out for yourself.
